Wednesday Night Xplosion #39: September 13th, 2006

Show Opening

The scene opens up with "Miss Murder" by AFI playing as a highlight reel from last week's episode of Xplosion is shown... the clip shows Benji Homan winning the Pure Championship #1 Contendership match on Download... then it shows The Linz and Justin Vincible falling threw tables... then it shows James Ceno beating Edge... finally it shows Johnny Chaos knocking James Cage out of the battle royal, and earning a title match at Halloween Havoc... the clips end with Mr. Man getting injured...

The crowd erupts as the show starts with the normal pyro show... Kenny and Jimmy talk about tonight's amazing card as Kurt Angle makes his way down to the ring for a triple threat match against Chris Michaels and Warren Fear who are already in the ring... the bell sounds as Angle slides in...

Triple Threat Match

Kurt Angle Vs. Warren Fear Vs. Chris Michaels

Winner: Kurt Angle

Kurt celebrates in the ring as Piper comes out onto the ramp with the EWE X-Division title over his shoulder... he fires Warren and Chris Michaels before talking about the state of the X-Division title... then Piper talks about how the X-Cup qualifying will be starting this week with Benji Homan vs. Chris Ceno and the rest of the qualifiers next week on Xplosion... he also announced that the X-Division title will play a factor in the X-Cup... Piper then heads backstage as the show cuts to a commercial break...

We return from the commercial break as the ECW theme is playing, and Duke is making his way down to the ring for his match against Christian Cage... the bell sounds as Duke climbs over the top rope...

Duke Vs. Christian Cage

Winner: Duke

After the match, it is found out that Christian is injured and won't be able to compete in the X-Cup... more on that later on... the scene switches to backstage where Chris Ceno, James Cage, and Nero Phoenix are shown arriving at the arena... the scene switches back to the arena as "Cocky" by Kid Rock is playing and K~Dawg is shown making his way to the ring... the Chaos star gets a little bit of a mixed reaction from the Xplosion crowd... when K~Dawg slides in, Abyss' theme starts up and the big man makes his way down the ramp with the Pure title over his shoulder... he climbs in as "Scars" by Stone Sour kicks on and Killjoy makes his way to the ring... he slides in but is stomped on the back by Abyss... the bell sounds...

EWE TeleVision Championship

Triple Threat Match

Killjoy Vs. K~Dawg{c} Vs. Abyss

Killjoy and Abyss fight it out for awhile while the TV Champ plays it cool and watches the big men duke it out... Abyss connects a hard body slam and a huge jumping knee drop... he gets an early 2 count as K~Dawg makes the save, knowing he doesn't need to get pinned to lose the match and his title... Abyss tries to go after K~Dawg now, but K~Dawg reverses and attempted hip toss... K~Dawg nails a modified fame asser and makes a quick cover as well... Killjoy breaks it up at 2 and lifts K~Dawg up to his feet... Killjoy tosses K~Dawg into the corner and hits a hard clothesline... K~Dawg gets crushed against the turnbuckle... Killjoy turns around and ducks an attempt at a dropkick from Abyss, then when Abyss turns around... Killjoy hits a hard Spinebuster... Killjoy slowly gets up from the power move, but is hit from behind with Da Meathook! K~Dawg makes the cover... 1... 2... 3!

Winner: K~Dawg (Still Champion)

K~Dawg celebrates in the ring with his EWE TV title before grabbing Abyss' Pure title and spitting on it... the crowd boos as K~Dawg heads up the ramp... the scene switches to a commercial break...

The scene returns from the commercial break as Piper is shown on his cell phone... Terri talks to him after the call ends and Piper informs Terri that Christian Cage will in fact not be able to compete in the X-Cup... he also says instead of finding a 12th man, he is going to give all the losers of the qualifiers a 2nd chance with a losers battle royal in 2 weeks to get back into the X-Cup... the scene switches back to the arena where Mortis is making his way down to the ring with his theme playing... he gets in the ring as Colt Cabana's theme starts up... Colt makes his way down to the ring and slides in as the bell sounds...

Standard Match

Colt Cabana Vs. Mortis

A good all around match... a lot of back and forth action between the seasoned vet and the recent return... Mortis almost his the rigamortis, but Colt counters it into a quick roll up and with the help of some ring ropes... gets the 3 count and the win...

Winner: Colt Cabana

Colt celebrates in the ring before heading up the ramp... the scene then cuts away to a little video from Monday night's special 9/11 Chaos... Xplosion's EWE World Heavyweight Champion defeated Chaos' EWE Champion in a tough match... YEAH THAT'S RIGHT... SPOLIERS BITCHES!!!

We return from the break as Stealth is shown making his way down to the ring... he rolls into the ring as "Prayer" by Disturbed starts up and James Ceno walks out with the All American title around his waist... he makes his way down to the ring and climbs in... the bell sounds as the ref holds the AA title high in the air...

Standard Match

James Ceno{c} Vs. Stealth

The two men lock up as the bell sounds... Ceno ends up with the advantage by putting Stealth into a head lock... he applies pressure and even blocks and attempt at Stealth putting him into the ropes... Ceno then flips Stealth over with a head lock take down... he picks Stealth up again and does another... Ceno then works the head lock on the mat for awhile until Stealth picks Ceno up... Stealth then does a huge belly to back suplex onto Ceno... Stealth is quick to his feet and hits a drop kick to Ceno as he's starting to get up. Stealth picks Ceno up and pushes him against the corner... he connects with a hard chop before setting him up on the top rope... Stealth goes for a top rope hurricanrana but Ceno reverses it into a top rope powerbomb... Ceno covers... 1... 2... kick out! Chris Ceno starts to make his way down the ramp... James notices him, but doesn't do anything... James picks up Stealth and lifts him into a gorilla press slam... he drops Stealth hard on the mat... James talks some smack to Chris who is now ring side... Stealth takes advantage and tries a victory roll onto Ceno and gets a 2 count... Ceno is quick to his feet... Stealth gets up too, but is kicked in the gut by Ceno... then lifted up and hit with the Electric Fire... Ceno looks Chris right in the eyes and makes the cover... 1... 2... 3!

Winner: James Ceno (Still Champion)

Chris Ceno slides into the ring and tries to attack James... James ends up hitting Chris hard with some punches then clotheslining him over the top rope and onto the floor... Chris gets up and talks crap all the way up the ramp... Ceno asks for a mic... James then talks about how he is the biggest and best thing the EWE has going, and how no one can stop him... he talks about how he can beat anyone in the EWE from White Tiger to DDD... suddenly though the lights dim down and the bag pipes kick on... the crowd goes nuts as General Manager Roddy Piper comes out onto the ramp and reminds Ceno how his first EWE match went... and how it ended... with a Scottish Slumber Sleeper hold... Ceno told him things have changed... Piper then asks why don't they test that next week on Xplosion, for the All American title... the crowd goes crazy as the scene changes to a commercial break...

We come back from the break with James Cage making his way to the ring, he slides in and waits... next to the ring is Anthony Douglas... the crowd cheers him on as he runs down to the ring and slides in as the bell sounds...

James Cage Vs. Anthony Douglas

Another back and forth match... both men show why they are the future of the EWE... Cage hits the E4 out of nowhere though and gets the 3 count...

Winner: James Cage

Backstage the camera are showing a limo pulling into the parking garage... the door opens... and it's Mr. McMahon himself! The scene switches back to the arena where Chris Ceno is making his way down to the ring... he climbs in as "Girl's Not Gray" by AFI kicks on and the young Benji Homan runs down to the ring... the bell sounds...

Chris Ceno Vs. Benji Homan

Winner: Benji Homan

Benji celebrates in the ring until James Cage and Nero Phoenix rush the ring... they attack Benji until James Ceno and Rikku run out and make the save... the two groups talk trash to each other as the scene switches to a commercial break...

We return from the break with the ECW theme playing with Finlay and Johnny Chaos making their way to the ring, they slide in and wait for Drew... Drew's theme kicks on but no one comes out... suddenly the theme changes to NO CHANCE and the crowd boos as Mr. McMahon walks out onto the ramp... Mr. McMahon awards Finlay and Johnny the win for tonight's match due to Drew's contract running short and The Linz leaving the EWE... Mr. McMahon then congratulates Johnny on the big win last week... Vince then says it's sad though, because there is no chance in hell that he would let the ECW name grace the name plate of the EWE's highest and most prized championship... Vince tells Johnny to prepare for hell... Johnny tells Vince to F*ck off... the scene fades to a commercial with an ECW chant...

We return from the commercial break as Nero Phoenix is making his way down to the ring... the crowd boos him, but Nero loves it... he climbs into the ring... before Cameron's theme starts up though, Chris Ceno and James Cage start to make their way down the ramp... they sit down at the announce table... Cameron's theme kicks on as the crowd erupts... Cameron walks down to the ring, he slides into the ring and looks over at Chris Ceno and James Cage before getting hit from behind by Nero as the bell sounds...

Main Event

Standard Match

Nero Phoenix Vs. Cameron Hayden

Nero beats Cameron down to the mat with a series of kicks... Nero then hits the opposite ropes and does a huge jumping flipping leg drop onto Cameron. Nero lifts him up and goes for a scoop slam, but Cameron slides behind him... Cameron then hits a hard dragon suplex and bridges for the cover... 1... 2... kick out! Cameron rolls up to his feet and picks up Nero, he sends Nero into the ropes and locks on a sleeper when he comes back... Nero fights out of it with a modified jaw breaker... Nero gets up and nails a super kick right to Cameron's chin... Nero picks up Cameron and whips him into the ropes... Cameron ducks a clothesline, but is hit with a powerslam the 2nd pass... Nero runs to the turnbuckle and hits a moonsault from the 1st rope, then the 2nd, then the 3rd making the Nero Effect work for the cover... 1... 2... 3!

Winner: Nero Phoenix

After the match Chris Ceno and James Cage fold up their chairs and climb into the ring... Chris hands his chair to Nero... they hit Cameron with their chairs before Chris Ceno hits a Pantherizer... the crowd cheers as Rikku and James Ceno run down the ramp with chairs in hand... they stop at the edge of the ring as James Cage hands the chair to Chris who is holding it above Cameron's head... Nero slides his other chair under Cameron's head... With ever inch Rikku and James get closer, Chris threatens to bash Cameron's head... Chris finally winds up... he goes to hit Cameron, but out of no where... Chris is speared to the ground by Edge... James Cage and Nero look over and are shocked, James Ceno and Rikku slide into the ring and the brawl starts up... The show fades to an end as all Extreme Evolution members are tossed out of the ring...
